As we continue to expand and grow, we are seeking an exceptional Director of Product to join our dynamic team and lead to lead our product strategy, Product Management, and Product Design efforts.

As the Director of Product, you will be a visionary leader responsible for shaping our product vision and ensuring its successful execution. In this role, you will oversee both Product Management and Product Design teams, driving collaboration, innovation, and excellence in product development. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-impact software products that delight our customers and exceed market expectations.

This position is a hybrid of remote and in-office (3 days per week) work out of our Mt. Arlington, NJ office.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Define and communicate the company’s product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Identify market opportunities, conduct competitor analysis, and stay abreast of industry trends to drive product innovation and differentiation.
  • Team Leadership: As the Director of Product, you will be responsible for building and leading high-performing and motivated Product Management and Product Design teams. Your primary focus will be to inspire and guide team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence. You will provide strategic direction and mentorship, empowering individuals to grow in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  • Product Management: Lead the product management team in defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and setting clear product requirements. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
  • Product Design: Oversee the product design team to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI). Champion a user-centric design approach and ensure seamless integration between design and development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that product development aligns with business objectives and market demands. Foster a culture of collaboration and effective communication among cross-functional teams.

Additional Areas of Responsibilities:

  • User Research: Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gain valuable insights into customer needs, pain points, and preferences. Use this data to inform product decisions and optimize user experiences.
  • Measurement: Define product success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance. Continuously analyze user feedback and product usage data to identify opportunities for improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Product Evangelism: Serve as the product evangelist both internally and externally. Communicate the value proposition of our products to stakeholders, customers, and partners, and represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Product Design, or a related field;
  • Relevant prior experience in Product Management and Product Design, with several years in leadership role(s);
  • Demonstrated success in driving product strategy and leading the launch of successful software solutions;
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, design thinking principles, and UX/UI best practices;
  • Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional product teams;
  • Familiarity with product design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma) and experience with product management and development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence);
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams;
  • A strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering outstanding user experiences.
