We are seeking a part-time Desktop Support Technician. The main role of this position is to assist with the support of employee-related hardware and software issues by responding to in-house work tickets assigned by the department manager.  We offer a flexible schedule with a 16 to 24 hour work week.

  • Assist in the resolution of in-house work tickets.
  • Install and administer Windows-based software applications.
  • Troubleshoot problems with existing O/S, hardware, and software products.
  • Install and configure new laptops and other hardware.
  • Assist with user account setup and security procedures.
  • Assist with facility-related tasks, such as equipment inventory, office and desk moves, and other needed facility maintenance
  • Computer Science major
  • PC familiarity
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
