Job Opening: Client Relations Advocate



STORIS, Inc. is a leading ERP retail software and service provider for the home furnishings industry.  We are currently seeking a Client Relations Advocate to join our team.  The basic purpose of the Client Relations Advocate is to ensure consistent and scheduled contact with Clients in order to build a solid partnership with STORIS in addition to ensuring issues and concerns reported are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.


Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Manage an assigned client list to maximize the level of customer service provided
  • Execute specific plans to generate leads for sales team, ensuring revenue growth
  • Record answers to specific customer questions in designated database
  • Track regular calls in designated database & create & maintain reporting statistics
  • Research client information to be reviewed prior to making scheduled calls
  • Build STORIS relationships to properly escalate Client issues should they arise
  • Follow up with STORIS personnel to ensure that client issues are taken care of
  • Ensure Client contacts are kept up-to-date
  • Properly maintain clients in risk code system to assist Services and Sales members


Requirements of the position:

  • Ability to create rapport with clients and listen effectively to understand their issues, needs and expectations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills in order to listen actively to clients, encourage dialogue and communicate information clearly and concisely
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Travel up to 25%
