STORIS Named 2014 Best Place to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ

MOUNT ARLINGTON, NJ– April 2014

STORIS has been named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey by NJBIZ. The Best Places to Work statewide program honors New Jersey’s top 100 employers who are committed to their employees’ growth and quality of life.

“We are honored to be named one of the 2014 Best Places to Work in the state” said Doug Culmone, Chief Operating Officer. “While this is a unique time as we are celebrating STORIS’ 25 year anniversary, what is particularly exceptional about the award is that a large part of the selection process was based on feedback from employees. This award directly reflects STORIS employees’ dedication and how they value their experience.”

Conducted by the Best Companies Group, the first part of the selection process was an evaluation of the company’s policies, practices and demographics. An employee engagement and satisfaction survey measured the employee experience for the second measurement. The combined scores resulted in the top companies and rankings.

NJBIZ hosted an award dinner for this event in New Brunswick, which was attended by over 700 people, including a number of STORIS employees. The attendees had no idea who would take the top position until the night of the ceremony, where STORIS’ name could be heard throughout the venue. Senior Manager of Human Resources, Barbara DeGenova, accepted the award on behalf of the entire STORIS team. It was a memorable night for the Mt. Arlington based company and an honorable accolade that will be remembered by the company forever.

Don Surdoval, Chief Executive Officer reflected on the award and STORIS’ 25 year anniversary,

NJBIZ spoke highly of STORIS in their 2014 Best Places to Work in NJ article. They mentioned some of STORIS’ company highlights, such as the Summer Olympics, Flex Fridays and various opportunities for employee growth.

STORIS was also recognized by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) with the Outstanding Employer award in 2012.
