What do you do in your position on a daily basis: I maintain STORIS’ end user guide, “The Help”, which has over 2,000 topics! Also, I put together the Enhancement Guides, edit the STORIS Production Newsletter, and review packets and cases that require mention in the Help. Plus I help out marketing with copyediting and am involved with screen design.
What do you like most about working at STORIS: Hands down, it’s the people! Everyone is incredibly helpful and friendly.
If you were not in this field, what would you be: I’d be an archivist for a historical society or public institution.
Do you have any hobbies/hidden talents: It’s been awhile, but I can play guitar.
Favorite holiday: Halloween—dressing up is fun!
Favorite month of the year: October. Fall is in full swing, so there are cool, clear days; beautiful foliage; hayrides with the kids; and pumpkin-flavored everything.
Favorite food: I can’t pick one thing, so I created a list: eclairs, burritos, sushi, mom’s pasta fagioli.
What do you usually do when you aren’t working: Spending time with my husband and two kids, Julia and Charlie.
Favorite place you’ve traveled to and why: Ireland. My husband and I rented a car and drove from Dublin along the southern coast and up to Galway. Every town we stopped in was beautiful, the people were friendly, and the food was delicious.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why: Telekinesis. It would make yard work so much easier.
Favorite color: Blue
Fun fact that many people may not know about you: I love yoga, especially hot yoga.
