STORIS, a leading supplier of Retail Software Solutions and Services, announced a new Point-of-Sale integration feature with Retail Deck and the Vision9 product suite.

Geared towards the Appliance and Electronics market, Retail Deck is a PC application that provides an online database listing of products from name brand manufacturers that are sold and distributed through respective buying groups.

Doing so allows us to offer many robust capabilities to our clients, without the additional costs associated with constantly ‘re-inventing the wheel’.”

For non-integrated systems, users need to research their information in the ‘Deck’, manually enter it into their POS application, and then add it to a customer order. With Vision9, a user can easily import a product's SKU into the Vision9 database, directly from within the POS entry screen. Doing this improves user efficiency that translates to quicker service for the customer, while ensuring accurate information is being entered onto the customer order. Supportive settings allow for establishing automatic calculation of selling prices based on gross profit thresholds and rounded dollars.

Additionally, because Retail Deck is updated on a daily basis, Vision9 can also perform on-demand or scheduled imports of product information to ensure a retailer’s sales team always has the most recent pricing information available.
