STORIS Announces New Clientele in Billiard Industry

Mt. Arlington, NJ – August 2006

STORIS Management Systems, a leading supplier of Technology Solutions&Services for Big Ticket retailers, welcomes two new Billiard clients to the Vision R8 system, Robbies Billiards and Game Room Outfitters and The Rec Room Plus. They will be utilizing STORIS’ Vision R8 ASP technology.

Located in Williamsport, MD, Robbies Billiards and Game Room Outfitters is a family owned and operated retailer for over 50 years. Robbies was established and founded by Robbie Poffenburger, a local cabinetmaker, in Hagerstown, Maryland back in 1954. Run by a husband and wife team since 1994, Mr. and Mrs. McGarity and their three sons, Robbies Billiards and Game Room Outfitters specializes in game room supplies, design and furnishing and lighting. Ryan McGarity, IT/Operations manager says choosing STORIS was a must. “We needed a Point of Sale system that was the perfect fit for our business requirements. We decided to use the STORIS system because it is fast and user friendly.” Robbies Billiards and Game Room Outfitters also has a showroom location in Winchester, VA.

Open for business for eleven years in Urbandale, Iowa, a suburb of Des Moines, The Rec Room Plus is run by a husband and wife team, Michele and Gaylon Peterson. They also have two additional locations in Nebraska and are looking to expand to another Midwest city soon. The Rec Room Plus offers a variety of billiard, game room and home furnishings, as well as outdoor fixtures. Owner Michele Peterson says the primary reason they chose STORIS as their software system was because of “the ease of facilitation.” Peterson says, “We didn’t want to go into any heavy upgrades in the process.
