Mart Furniture Galleries (which operates as a licensee of Bassett Furniture), has been a STORIS partner for over 13 years. They continue to rely on STORIS' retail solution for their 20 years plus of industry knowledge and service.

Mart Furniture Galleries, located in New Jersey, has been through four major upgrades with STORIS over the past several years. "Our latest upgrade to R8 was intensive as we also replaced our server with a new IBM model," says Mitch Sheitelman, who, along with his brother Eric, owns and operates the Mart. "This required careful examination of many of our systems to be sure nothing was overlooked. We worked with many associates at STORIS in several departments to complete this, and were impressed with the seamlessness in which it was carried out."

The Mart emphasizes that the ease of operation with the R8 system is an exceptional benefit. "Being point and click it enables new users to work the system quickly," says Sheitelman.

Sheitelman says his business is especially helped by the strong reporting that the STORIS system offers. "Aside from the daily and weekly reporting, we have found that the most valuable reporting tool is the exception-based reporting features that are provided. We don't like to break the promises to our customers!"

The Mart concludes that STORIS persistently provides a "solid platform" for retailers. "Knowing we have that to perform daily operations is important to us," says Sheitelman. "Built-in security features allow us to monitor exceptions and respond quickly to any problems."
